Renault logo redesign. A soul made physical.

Can you see it? It’s there…you watch the logo, and you see the the car, with all its metallic layers and forms. I think it’s not so immediate to represent the soul of a product, within a sign, or a mark. Here we have a stunning 3D-redesign for Renault brand made by art director Sylvain Boyer. Three metallic elements embedded togheter to form a new tridimensional logo, with a heart of fueling gold and a double encasement like they were parts of the car’s bodywork, at least that’s what appears to me. Different coloured ‘hearts’ make the logo to alloy with the variants of the car. Cool, polished design. Gosh! I cannot watch the current brand of Renault without seeing it outdated already.
